J Boog is Reggae artist; he was born in Long Beach and raised in Compton California. J Boog is of Samoan descent his family and his tradition and culture keep him off the rough streets of Compton. When J Boog was four he heard his older sister playing the piano, that’s when he became interested in music. When she brought home a Bob Marley song book J Boog was never the same. In 2005 J Boog was introduced to one of his favorite artist George “Fiji” Veikoso” they started working together and J Boog moved to Hawaii in 2006. J Boog released his debut album “Hear Me Roar” in 2007 and joined the Wash House Music Inc. a record label based in Hawaii and San Francisco. I like the song “Lets Do It Again” you can understand what he’s singing about. The song “Here I Am” is a spiritual song it’s my favorite, he is thanking the all Mighty for giving him the gift of song. I like J Boog he is positive young man singing positive lyrics.
